Nowadays there are single power supply op-amps but if you ever need to use dual power supply for your op-amp in your circuit. The following circuit diagram shows how to connect two batteries in series and then grounding the junction of the two batteries and use the other two positive and negative terminals for the +V and -V pins of the operational amplifier.
Use two two decoupling 0.001 to 0.1 μF ceramic capacitor for the +V and -V.
