DIY Motor Controller with IR2110 MOSFET driver IC for Arduino

I have been learning motor controller circuit for driving RC cars and robotics application. I have found that mosfet driver IC like TC4427/TC4428 and IR2104/IR2110 are frequency used in driving robotic motors. They are not useful only in motor application but also in power circuit applications such as in boost converter, buck converter. Learning motor driver circuit and power supply circuit is I think can be very useful in all kinds of electronics circuit design.

Here I wanted to write note on Arduino based motor controller designed with IR2110 MOSFET drivers. One of the immediate benefit of using IR2110 MOSFET driver IC is that it does not require P-Channel MOSFET, all switching MOSFETS are N-Channel MOSFETs.

The circuit diagram is below.

DIY Motor Controller with IR2110 MOSFET driver IC for Arduino

I have posted a video on youtube that shows how the circuit works.

I think this one is a good diy motor controller circuit. I want to use it and experiment with it in my future electronics projects. I have used L298N motor driver module and L293D motor driver module in my Arduino based RC car controlled with bluetooth and WiFi RC car with NodeMCU

But the motor controller circuit designed with the IR2110 mosfet driver and IRF540N MOSFET will perform superior than the L298N and L293D which are both BJT transistor based motor driver modules. I think I need to make a similar module using the IR2110 mosfet(and sell online?).

Next I think I will see the IR2104 version of diy motor controller circuit for Arduino.
